AAUSAT3 PCBs
On this page is pictures of all the PCBs in AAUSAT3.
You can see a high res picture by clicking on them.
You can use the pictures with a clear reference to AAUSAT3
ADCS - Attitude Control System
AAUSAT3 attitude Control System consists of two system:
- ADCS1 - detumbling system - can handle up to tumbling rates up to 650 degr/sec (AAUSAT3 has been detumbled from 500 degr/sec)
- ADCS2 - A nadir pointing system
They share sensors and magnetorquers
AAUSAT3 is now rotating 720 degr (2 rotations) for every orbit for preventing (just in case) the non solar cell covered side to point at Sun for more than a short interval.
ADCS1 is based on a avr90can128 and ADCS2 on an ARM7 - bot running FreeRtos
AIS receivers - payload
AIS1 left, AIS2(SDR) right part of PCB
AIS1 based on ADF7021 frontend and a 8 MHz avr90can128(running FreeRtos)
AIS2 based on BF537 DSP(running uClinux) and a 1 MHz AD frontend
EPS - power supply
Based on avr90can128 plus FreeRtos
COM - UHF communication system
437.425 MHz - 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200 baud FEC based carrying CSP protocol
Sidepanels
